Thanks Chris, so they are all the dedicated 74F flights? If you are interested I might give you a position, President of Cargo Operations (SkyCargo Manager for short lol)

Then that way we can get the ball rolling on their operations as well.

As far as I know, these are indeed dedicated freighter flights. I've spent the last two hours or so Googling and Wikipediaing the Cargo branch and the individual airports to see what all the information says. Some of it doesn't gel with what other sites say, and some does. This is the best dedicated freighter destination list I could nail down, but I plan on researching further when I have time. I'm going to use UAE's Sky Cargo flight look-up function to cross check all of these flights, so hopefully in a few days I'll have an almost, if not perfect, cargo list formulated, and then I can start looking up routes and what not.

I'll do this with or without a title John, anything to help get the VA running. I'd be more than happy to step in as SCM if you'd like, or you can wait and see who else applies. Just trying to set the base work up ya know?

Chris

Edit: I've noticed that some of the flights that supposedly depart from Dubai, don't have return service. This is going on my list of things to verify. I'll keep you all informed of what I find out.

Glad to help!

After I get all the flights and aircraft sorted out, I can use the list of registrations and SELCAL's to assign aircraft to each route. This will probably not be for a week or so, but when it's done, it will provide a little extra realism whenever the pilot goes to make a Sky Cargo flight.

Hopefully after all this route business is said and done, I can try and make a little cargo training manual. I have the Angle of Attack PMDG 747 training DVD, along with the PMDG 747/74F, so I have the materials needed. Keep an eye out for updates on this also.

Can I get an Offical Title for Chris so I can make him an avatar image?

VP Cargo Operations? That'll squeeze in there nicely next to VP Operations.

Sounds good to me.

I just finished doing a little more research before heading off to bed (not sure where you all live, but it's just past midnight here). I just read through a pamphlet found on Sky Cargo's website about the 777F, and it seems like when they get their new birds, the division will be expanding rapidly. It said something about 100 destinations, but I'm wondering if they're including Pax/Freight Combi flights? Even more to look at! But if it turns out that they are expanding their dedicated freighter list, we'll have an even bigger drawing point for sim pilots who prefer cargo ops. This is one of the great things about mirroring an expanding airline, there's always new things to bring in people.

As always, I'll keep you updated.
