Staff appointments
I want to be clear from the very start. Here it is:
Johnathon Neilsen - Chairman & CEO
Robert Kurtz - COO
Then we will discuss succeeding post such as VP-IT, VP-HR, VP-Training and Executive VP. As soon as we get everything filled, we're good to go together with the stuffs we need of course. But for now, we're not going to hire any to fill the informal staff positions I've laid up above. But we can basically hire someone to help us from the very ground floor then as we move up... we will look a position for the guy.
I don't want us to be like other VA's out there who are hiring Hub managers even tho they don't have the base ready yet. What I'm saying is; get the base set up ... get our future staff persons by getting someone involved in this project and help us out. That's all.. but hiring a "staff" is not yet considered at the moment.
One last thing: John & Robert, I want you guys to lead this development. While I'm in here working behind the scenes (website and looking for our future webmaster )

Yup! I don't want to be involved with the staffs that much, but I will choose mine soon, more likely a minor position. And by the way Rob, those graphics you made are really cool. I knew your the guy for this Photoshop stuffs... at first glance you won't really notice the difference between the real and this (font used) one!

Vice Presidents may hire their personnel upon approval of the Executive Board, for example is the VP-Fleet: He/She may be authorized to hire his/her aircraft repainters. This way, we can work with enough space. We don't have such thing as global financial crisis in the virtual world anyway, so there's no reason to limit the staffs. As long as it's reasonable.
I would like to hear your thoughts about it. As soon as this is approved, we're going to start writing the position descriptions. But staff opening is still on the red light until we get the website up and running.

Yes Romano, I would advise you to take the ExecVP position. This way you still have legal authority. If you want someone else to actually take the "role" of Exective VP, then title that person "Senior VP" this way you are still above the Senior VP, while he is above the other management VPs.

Good point, Robert. Then I will take the Exec. VP position. This way, I still have the legal authority as you were saying. Thanks for helping me to choose out! I didn't take any higher positions such as CEO or COO, that way I could remain low-profile. But you know, you gotta stand up for sometimes.

Since there's no other Domicile except for Dubai as the centre of all Emirate's Operations, I will remove the Domicile Manager's post. The VP-OPS will then act as the overall manager of the day-to-day operations and will handle basically everything that goes on around. Our VP-OPS will maintain the Roster and ensure that our SOP's is observed and all rules are applied. Ie. ensuring all manually submitted reports are valid.

We wont be hiring this position for sometime yet as we have no need for such a position in the developing stages. However, you may submit your application to Romano, and we will contact you when we feel the position is needed.

Yup!! This positions are for tomorrow not today. Though we're already open for application for the VP-HR, VP-Fleet & VP-PRO, those are our priority staff positions that will help ease the job of our CEO, COO and me; the other one's they're for tomorrow. VP-HR basically manages applications.
VP-Fleet handles all fleet resource related stuffs. Repaints, Freeware models, Updates and works with our a/c repainters. All those are in his shoulders.
VP-PRO (Public Relations Officer) is responsible for liaising with external organizations such as; VATSIM, different VATSIM Divisions (ACC), partner VA's and all stuffs that requires a liaison. And from the job title itself, PRO. You'll know it all.

As in here, we would like to ensure that ALL our personnel are competent and remains at the top of their game. But this remains an open-door VA to pilots, for staffs; I'm afraid it's locked and you will have to earn they key to get in.

Hello All,
Just letting you know I'm still here, and ready to go when we open. I haven't seen much board activity lately, so I've kinda put EKv on the back burner, but I'm glad to see there is progress in the background. I'm also getting ready for school, as this year I start my schooling for my Airframe and Powerplant certification.
Also, I have the Sky Cargo email set up that John gave me.
