I'd like a little space here to put up images for EKv use. So you guys can see things, tell me what you do and don't like, etc. Do you want me to just put them all here, maybe put them down in the "website" forum, or make a new forum for them, so each group (ie banners, screenshots, etc) can be thier own topics?

Maybe you can just put em all right here. No difference, this is just our temporary boards as well so no one will mind. And by the way Robert, I already have the webmaster. So most likely next week we are going to start the website construction, with that I will need your help when it comes to; images, banners and other sorts graphical stuffs.

No problem Romano. I'm on it. Let me know what you need as far ahead of time if you can, that'd be great. I'll be posting a few example images here in a minute...

I like the 2nd one. With that "tone" it'll suit the website, if you can do some more of that; with that exact color tone, I will use it for the banner and I will match the overall website color theme to that. Btw, what color is that? I mean the color code. (ie. 00000 for example)

I'm looking to have our color theme to be: that color and white. I'm sure it'll look great, we'll be matching it of course. But I'll give it a try, but visualizing it; looks awesome!!

It's actually not one solid color. If you notice in general the bottom is darker, and the top is lighter. Ther are some variances, but the top is mostly around f5efb0 while the bottom is d7d27c. I can clean that up and use one solid color (but I don't thin is will look as good or natural), or use a more consistant gradient (the better shoice, I think), to make it more website friendly.

I can change all kinds of stuff with it, too. I can make the white bar more or less transparent, get rid of it altogether. For instance, have a blank one on the main page, then it coud have different text for each other page. Stuff like that. Everything is on it's own layer, and saved as a .psd to make changes easy.

I also just got the Wilco A380, with the awesome McPhat Emirates repaint, so I'm gonna do some stuff with that. I know that you and I are both Boeing lovers, but being an A380 operator (and showing that off) is going to be an advantage. I know it.

Sounds really great, Robert. You keep working on that stuff. Anyhow, do you know that image used as border? I mean something like a blank white page in the center and same color for both sides, to use it as a border. Look at this: http://thai.vatasia.net/

You will notice the two grey color on left and right. I will need a .gif file that is similar to that, but not now. Until I get every color mixed up, I will let you know what I need. If you have an idea what color should we use, it'll be no problem.

So here's MY agenda for now.

Get the site up with all the necessary stuffs (w/out the automatic pilot reporting tools in use. we will use manual reporting at first until we get those programs tweak. there's something to do with the database to get a auto reporting working with fsacars and fspax. if we're lucky enough and someone can help us out when it comes to the programming to work with fsacars and fspax then we will.)

I'm also going to need suggestions for text. "Start discovering the planet," is directly off of the Emirates website, but I don't think they can copywrite a sentence. scratch

AvA is using - We Know Why You Fly...

Tony Kovacs, is even using copyrighted materials without worrying LOL. I think the sentence would be fine, except for the images. But as far as I can see, the images we're going to use is even better than the one's they are using. Ours is something more alive!! Smile

Robert,

I Love your work!

I really like the 2nd one in both posts. They really set us apart.

I thought of a line:

"Discover your place in our World."

Cheers!

Right on the money, that's what I need (border). The A380 looks great, both of them. It's quite hard to choose which to use, however keep them coming. I might use different one's per page. Great work, Rob!!

(this may be a double post)

Johnathon,

That line is perfect. Just what we need. Thanks much for the compliments.

Romano,

Be sure to click the link below the border image to see the entire thing. The left and right sides are different. Tell me which one you like more. I assume it is the left, though.

I'm off to bed guys, cya tomorrow!

Alright goodnight! So here's my pick: LEFT. Smile Just be noted, we need a whole size of that. It's to be used for the whole page...

How's everything going Rob? Here's what to do for now, do assortment of images like your previous works. We're gonna use those as I've mentioned for the website... and as for the tone, make it look like that. It's wonderful!

Like in this shot: This kind of shots will be used as PRIMARY banner(s) for primary pages.

A place for images 3610097218_12f2fbacb9_o

For the assortments, something like this: This kind of shots will be used for different page(s)

A place for images 3610097332_92d66c12fa_o

All are good looking pictures. Good for us to use on the website ... but this time, collect every of them and with random aircraft on the picture. Then post em all right here... Wink

Good question Rob. Okay, just hold it for now until we determine the size we're gonna need. Thanks for reminding me!

Also, I don't have very good scenery for any Middle Eastern Regions. Nothing like I have for Europe and the U.S. anyhow. So if you do have some good looking scenery, like FlyTampa Dubai, amd you guys would like to send me images to use/edit, feel free. Or if you just have shots you'd like me to use in general.

I'm really glad you guys like them. For a while there I was stumped. I was about to post here asking for help or suggestions.

Okay then, anyways, feel free to use the links I provided. If only a few of us are using them, then having them hosted on my flickr account for now won't be a problem. (I have a separate flickr account simply for Emirates images)

P.S. I thought you might like that, John. Wink

Oh, also do we want to use just one? Or use them both? If we're gonna vote, I pick #2.

Oh, and I have to boast about this one. This might be the coolest thing I've done in PS to date. The original image for the girl was in black and white. But the image was so perfect, I just had to use it. So I colored it. That's right, not color to b&w...b&w to color! What do you think? Pretty neat, eh?
