Great to see an Emirates Virtual at last! I fly them very often on VATSIM and they are by far my favourite airline r/w.

Seen your banners on the .net forums - looking great so far! Spoken to Chris already: I'm VATUAE4 from the Vatsim Emirates division, so if I can be of any help whatsoever, just let me know.

Jack I had tried to get ahold of VATUAE1 previously, to no avail. I have talked with VATME1 and VATBAH1, though. As a former VATUSA controller, I know how important preffered routes and such can be somtimes. So I was wanting to see if such things existed in the Dubai FIR. Basically things that we can pass on to our pilots to make both thier flights, and the controllers sessions a little bit more enjoyable.

The only thing worth noting is the PAPAR departures out of Dubai - these are now suspended due to disagreements with Iran, and therefore the DARAX departure must be used instead.

Apart from that, I don't see a problem - just try not to get departing aircraft routing direct SHJ after departure (many free routeplanners generate this) as it causes a pain for controllers and pilots alike.

If aircraft are using the real-world flightplans (which I can get for you if you don't already have them) then it should all run like clockwork. Feel free to get in touch with me if you would like to organise a flyout/event and we'll get Dubai and Emirates fully staffed for you.
